David wants to build a house for God, but God responds with something far greater: a promise to build David’s house and establish his throne forever. As David walks in humility and obedience, God gives victory, provides for the future, and points ahead to Jesus as the forever King. God doesn’t need us to accomplish His plans, but He invites us to join Him—and He calls us to do it together.
