Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem exposes how easily we can want a conquering hero while missing the true King who comes to realign our hearts with God. Walking through the fig tree, the temple cleansing, and Jesus’ words on prayer and forgiveness, we see that God’s power flows where our hearts are surrendered and in step with His will. This teaching presses us to ask whether we’re treating God like a spiritual vending machine or coming to Him in honest prayer, willing to forgive and be transformed.
